We believe that good quality fresh food, locally sourced, is important to the health and well-being of the children that we care for.  Our seasonally rotated menus and recipes use the best of what's available throughout the year, incorporating fresh ingredients into a well-balanced diet that’s tasty too.

We encourage children to eat fresh fruit and vegetables (as appropriate for the age of the child) during snack time, taking  care with children that have special dietary needs including food allergies and intolerances.

Babies are fed with breast milk or formula, the latter is provided by us according to the same milk babies are having a home. The needs of weaning babies is always discussed with parents first, especially when it comes to introducing new foods and flavours. The aim again is to keep to their normal routine at home.

Finally, we believe mealtimes should be enjoyable and provide an opportunity for children to learn as well and so we always encourage staff and children to sit and eat together. You can see our latest menu when you visit the nursery.
